URBAN MONASTERY - Fear of God Spec Ad

URBAN MONASTERY Spec Ad – Silence x Streetwear

Introduction A contemplative fashion film that blends ascetic ritual with modern streetwear. Urban Monastery imagines clothing as devotion, a daily practice of intention and clarity. I led concept development, visual direction, and production design, creating a world where stillness becomes a style language.

Process I drew from monastic architecture and ceremonial minimalism: stone corridors, candlelight, and the geometry of restraint. Then I reframed those elements within a concrete urban landscape. The goal was to merge sacred stillness with streetwise confidence.

I used chiaroscuro lighting, monolithic framing, and rhythmically isolated movement to build a visual language where every gesture feels deliberate. Wardrobe and set design worked in quiet harmony. Folds, shadows, and tactile surfaces echoing discipline and devotion.

Outcome The final piece unfolds as a slow ritual, a study in presence, resistance, and grace. It reframes streetwear as a vessel of identity and purpose, offering a visual world built not only on style, but on interior stillness. Each frame is a vow: refined, intentional, and quietly powerful.
